February Newsletter

Lytchett Minster and Upton Community Art.

The cold damp month of February is when we lose Mabel our leader to warmer climes. She is a founder member and the holder of almost all knowledge about the art strand. Later in the year she is planning to step down and we will all need to step up to keep engaging the community in a variety of art projects and displaying them around the town. New members are always welcome to join our small, dedicated team. Art skills not necessarily required. One of the things we believe is that everyone should be able to join in and enjoy seeing their work displayed from the pre-school children right up to older members of the community.

We already have several projects and events planned for this year but if you would like our support working with your group to produce a piece of art, if you have ideas for a tired area of the town that could do with brightening up or you would like us to produce something for you please do get in touch.

We hope you are enjoying our Valentine post box toppers and look out for some items to celebrate Mothering Sunday.

Feeling the love from everyone involved in the ART STRAND.

Thank you all for your support and kind comments throughout the year.
